The Rose is a universal symbol of love, friendship beauty and peace. Roses have been prized throughout history and all over the world for the sweet, soothing and healing nature of their scent.
In Aromatherapy, it is considered that Rose oil is the “Queen of Flowers”. The healing properties of Rose oil have been recognized for their ability to create balance and strengthen a stagnated body. The distilled oil, has been used in many parts of the world to treat menstrual disorders, insomnia, headaches, palpation’s, inflammation, aging skin and as an aphrodisiac. The sweet soft hypnotic scent calms the mind, which allows us to experience the subtle flow of the universe.

Bathe in Roses.

A warm rose bath will ease conditions of stagnant blood headaches, constipation, bloating, irregular or painful menstruation and at the same time create soft smooth skin tone.

Aromatic Rose Bath Blend

50 mls. Of Sweet Almond oil
10 mls of Calendula Oil
5 drops of Rosa damascena “otto”
Blend and pour into bath. Soak for at least 20 minutes

Roses for Radiant Complexion

Rose oil is one of the most suitable ingredient in cosmetics. One of the main component of rose oil, “farnesol” it has shown to suppress the growth of the skin bacteria responsible for breaking down perspiration. The valuable rejuvenating and healing properties of rose oil are beneficial for all skin types especially dry skin. The Rose oil creates a radiant glow to one’s complexion.

Rose Skin Toner

¼ cup Aloe Vera juice
¼ cup rose water
¼ teaspoon of glycerin
5 drops of Rosa Damascena
Combine ingredients and shake well before using.
Apply with cotton swabs.

Rose Facial oil

50mls. Apricot kernel Oil
5 drops of Rosehip oil
5 drops of Rosa Damsacena oil
Blend in brown glass bottle. Drop 3 to 4 drops on facial skin and massage till absorbed.

“The unfolding of a Rosebud to a flower, symbolizes the unfolding love within the heart." The compassion of the rose is revealed to heal emotional wounds. Rose oil brings warmth to a soul grown cold through abuse or hurt. Rose oil can touch the deepest sorrow, restoring trust that makes it possible to love again.
Rose oil is the supreme oil for the Heart, the center of love, whether that is love for one person or Universal love. Rose oil allows love energy to radiate out.

Anointing Rose Oil
(for opening the heart to love)

10 mls of Jojoba Oil
5 drops of Rose Absolute oil
Blends the two oils in glass bottle. Anoint the wrists, temples and chest. Take a few minutes to breathe deeply, think of positive thoughts of love and kindness.
