FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS WITH HEALING FRAGRANCES

This is the time when autumn turns to winter, and winter will bring forth the
holiday season. The special aromas and light of the season’s
celebrations enter our homes and open up our hearts to joy. Welcoming
the thoughts of miracles into our lives.
“ When they opened their treasures they presented unto him gifts
of gold, frankincense and Myrrh.”
(Matthew 2:12)
It is the gift of giving that emphasis this season. “The Three
Wise men presented the gifts of Frankincense and Myrrh. At the time these
herbs were valued just like gold for their therapeutic and divine properties
to ones being. And to this very day they are valued in Aromatherapy.
WHAT IS AROMATHERAPY?
Aromatherapy is the enhancement of body, mind and spirit using
natural essential oils essences. These essences can balance,
stimulate, relax, invigorate and rejuvenate the body. Only
the purest oils are used in Aromatherapy.
Aromatherapy massage benefits the whole body through the application
of essential oil, not only on the topical area, but on adjacent
organs as well. It is by far the most luxurious therapeutic
treatment available.
The protective aroma of Frankincense assists to keep our hearts
pure and full of understanding and at the same time it works to
boost our immune system and allows our breath to resonate with
the harmony of our body. Using Frankincense along with other
essential oils can relieve symptoms of colds and flu and allow
us to heal and relax.
BLEND FOR COLDS/CONGESTION
2 drops of Frankincense oil
1 drop of Bergamot oil
1 bowl of hot water Put drops of the oil into a bowl of hot water and inhale
for seven minutes.
A warm bath to which the oils are added, encourages relaxation
and well being to take effect aided by the humidity and steam in
the bath, allowing the essential oil vapors to enter the Limbic
System (the home of the memory bank and emotions) and from here
into the bloodstream.
MEDITATING BATH BLEND
4 tbsp of Jojoba Oil
4 drops of Frankincense oil
2 drop of Geranium oil
2 drop of Lavender oil
Place the oils into a nice hot bath. Sit for
15 to 20 minutes. Inhale the aromas and relax, while your
skin is being nourished. This is a wonderful gift idea. Double
the ingredients and put the blend in a decorative bottle.

skin.”
In skin care, Frankincense is particularly helpful for older skin,
and has a definite tonic effect, helping to restore some tone to
slack and dehydrated skin looking facial skin. Rose oil is a wonderful
ally to fight against puffiness and broken capillaries.
FACIAL MASSAGE BLEND
30 mls of Apricot kernel oil
3 drops of Rose oil
2 drops of Frankincense oil
Blend in 30 ml bottle. Apply 3-4 drops of oil on face and massage
until well absorbed into skin. The deep fragrance of Myrrh resonates
with the emotional and physically wounded soul. The fragrance
enables letting go of the need to struggle to achieve our goals.
Myrrh is a great healer for skin problems, skin infection, it makes
a good antiseptic mouth wash and in beauty a tincture of myrrh
can be used as a toner to close open pores.
NATURAL ANTISEPTIC SKIN GEL
30 mls Natural Aloe Vera gel
2 tbsp of Jojoba oil
5 drops of Myrrh oil
10 drops of Lavender oil
Combine ingredients together and apply to irritated areas.
Geranium essential oil supports in balancing and rejuvenating dry skin conditions. Frankincense
and Myrrh: both gentle and effective in replenishing moisture to the skin.
This mask is wonderful for nurturing dry skin due to winter season.
NATURAL MOISTURIZING FACE MASK
1 tsp of Natural Yogurt
2 tsp of Natural honey
1 Vitamin E Capsule
1 tsp of oat flour
2 drops of Myrrh
2 drops of Frankincense
2 drops of Geranium
Combine the ingredients together. Squeeze vitamin E capsule contents
into this mixture and stir well. Apply with fingertips. Relax
15 to 20 minutes. Remove with warm water |
